Do I need sales experience?

You don’t need to have worked in sales. You do need to learn the product, find businesses it could help, and follow up on conversations. People who work with clients, know local businesses, or enjoy meeting people can all get started.

Do I need to know business owners already?

No. Existing relationships can help, but you can also find and approach businesses that could use the product. You’ll be responsible for finding potential customers and starting those conversations.

How do I learn about the products?

The Padmi team helps you understand the offer, pricing, and the kinds of businesses it suits. Before you reach out, make sure you can explain the product and ask the company about anything you’re unsure of.

Do I make the introduction or handle the whole sale?

It depends on the product. Before you start, agree with the company on which parts of the sale you’ll handle and when its team will join the conversation. An introduction alone doesn’t earn a commission—the customer needs to pay.

When will I get paid?

For an annual prepayment, Padmi invoices the company after 60 days on the amount it keeps. For monthly payments, commission follows each payment for up to 12 months. Company invoices are due within 14 days, and you’re paid within 7 days after Padmi collects.

How do I register an introduction?

The company, buyer’s business name, contact details and introduction date. Add any useful context about the conversation.

What if the company already knows the buyer?

The company can flag a prior conversation and provide evidence of contact within the 90 days before your introduction. Otherwise, it accepts the referral. Referrals are accepted automatically after 3 days without a response.

What happens if the customer stops paying?

Monthly commission stops when payments stop. Annual commission applies to the amount the company keeps. Any later refund is adjusted against future payouts; brokers are not asked to send money back.
